AG Bell is pleased to present its eighth Research Symposium featuring world-renowned scientists in the field of hearing health and research. Learn more about advances in hearing aid and cochlear implant technology as well as the development of speech and language using amplification, and new research on auditory function that will help us make strides in developing new interventions for hearing loss.   • Joe Santos-Sacchi, Ph.D., Department of Otolaryngology, Yale School of Medicine, will present on cochlear mechanics and auditory function.
  • Jont Allen, Ph.D., Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Illinois, will present on acoustic amplification.
  • Michael Dorman, Ph.D., Department of Speech and Hearing Sciences, Arizona State University, will present on electrical amplification.
  • Tonya Bergeson-Dana, Ph.D., Department of Otolaryngology, Indiana University, will present on speech and language development using amplification.
