2015 AG Bell Symposium Registration Rules and Refunds

Registration Instructions

Before completing the registration form, please read the following information. Please print clearly or type all information when filling out the attached registration form. Fill in all requested information completely. Failure to provide full and accurate information will delay the processing of your registration.

 Group Rates:  For information on rates for groups of 10 or more from the same organization, please email AG Bell at info@agbell.org. Each member of the group will need to fill out an individual registration form.

Payment:  Please enter the total calculated amount from all the entries. Payment should reflect symposium-related fees only. Payment should be made in U.S. Dollars only. Payment must be received in order for a registration to be processed. Make all checks payable to Alexander Graham Bell Association. To avoid double billing, faxed registrations should not be followed up by mail. Registration forms received after June 26, 2015 may be returned unprocessed  –  after June 26, 2015 you must register and pay onsite.

2015 Symposium Rules and Conditions

All attendees of the 2015 Listening and Spoken Language Symposium (“symposium”) of the Alexander Graham Bell Association for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (“AG Bell”) agree to comply with all rules and conditions of the symposium, including all rules in this brochure, all future correspondence and as may be posted at the symposium. Attendees of any symposium activity must wear the official symposium name badge. Name badges are required for admission to all events. Badges are closely monitored to prevent unauthorized persons from participating in the symposium. Symposium registration may not be used for advertising, promotions, giveaways, sweepstakes or other trade purposes without express written consent of AG Bell. Symposium attendees must behave responsibly at all symposium events. Threatening physical actions and disorderly or disruptive conduct will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the symposium, denial of access to symposium facilities and other penalties. Symposium attendees voluntarily assume all risk and danger of personal injury (including death) and all hazards arising from, or related in any way to the symposium, whether occurring prior to, during, or after the symposium, howsoever caused and whether by negligence and/or otherwise. Rules and conditions are subject to change without notice.

Symposium attendees may not under any circumstances conduct any live or recorded audio, video or photographic activities without the express permission of the AG Bell Chief Executive Office or Director of Communications. Contact sboswell@agbell.org with a request for photography/videography.

Symposium attendees grant permission to AG Bell (and its designees and agents) to utilize the attendee’s image, likeness, actions and statements in any live or recorded audio, video or photographic display or the transmission, exhibition, publication or reproduction made of, or at, the symposium in any medium or context for commercial or promotional purposes without further authorization or compensation.


Refunds for symposium registration fees and pre-symposium workshops, less a $50 administrative fee, will be made only if cancellation is received in writing and postmarked by June 26, 2015. No refunds will be issued for cancellations postmarked after June 26, 2015. This includes refunds due to illness, late arrival, weather conditions and/or other travel difficulties. Credit balances and/or un-cashed refund checks may not be used to purchase additional items onsite.
